Hello! My name is Kiel (Kyle)

I’m a software engineer with a background in electrical engineering. Previously graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a BS of Electrical Engineering. Currently I’m attending Arizona State University (ASU) for a MS of Software Engineering.

In the past, I’ve held Electrical Engineering positions, which included laying out PCBs and supporting hardware designs in various ECAD software including Altium and Eagle CAD.

Most recently, I’ve held Firmware/Software positions, which I’ve programmed hardware via firmware updates and developed software via Qt (C++) and .Net (C#) frameworks.

My career interests are:

• audio software/hardware
• video game development
• high frequency trading
• embedded systems

My technical interest are:

• digital signal processing (dsp)
• multithreading
• build systems
• linux
